Yesterday Mum, Sam and I went to the Bat hospital which was awesome because we got to see microbats, megabats and flying foxes.  We also got to see the baby bats be tucked into bed which was lovely and cute.  We also saw a microbat crawling up the wall backwards trying to get into its hidy hole.  This was super dooper funny.  Then we went back home to the caravan.  I learnt so much about bats that day.

Today we went to Herbeton Historical Village which was awesome.  We got to see a blacksmith making stuff. I asked what happened if he put too much oxygen into the fire so he showed me – it made a pretty good imitation of a volcano.  We also got to see a steam engine starting up, it kept shooting out jets of water.

He made lots of cool animals. Can you guess what animals they are?
