For our first day I went to the Australian National ANZAC museum and they had massive guns to play on! It was awesome !
The next day we went to whale world (Discovery Bay). At WHALE WORLD you can board Australia’s only accessible whale chaser and on the outside it looked the same as it did 40 years ago. My favorite part was the CHEYNES IV whale chaser!
James did not fall over (YAY) and we saw the biggest pigmy blue whale skeleton in the world?
Hi Sam,
Whales bones are like dinosaur bones and I wonder if whales evolved from them.
Although you were in Albany a few weeks ago, I have only just found this post. The museum ship and guns look old, and the gun looks like it would fire a great distance.
Love Grandpa
When I went to Albany in 1957 in HMAS Swan the whaling station was still active. A good thing it has been closed and I wasn’t aware of the museum, Love, Dad
Great post Sam, the tank looks like fun! XX Aunty Erika
