James – The Nullarbor

At Ceduna we rode on Go-karts and they were really fun to ride. We also went crabbing off the wharf and caught 8 blue swimmer crabs and I got 2 in one net. I was really excited.

After Ceduna we started the Nullarbor Plain.  It took 3 days to cross it.  The first night we stayed at Murrawijine caves.  There were 3 caves there, one was easy to get into.  The other one was very hard to go into to and it was impossible to get into the last one.

The Great Australian Bight was extremely beautiful.

The next day we crossed the WA border.  After about 5kms we arrived at a small village called Ecula.  At Ecula we went to old Telegraph station.  It was very fun to play in because it was half filled with sand.  It also did not have any roof.  The sand made slopes heading up to the top of the walls.

  1. Hi James and Sam
The crabs you caught are very blue…. The Hamilton South PS owl, like you, will be seeing lots of interesting places. Maybe you could write a story as if you were the owl writing it.
