This morning I woke up and had cuddles in bed with mum and dad. Then I realised it was my birthday when mum got the presents. I got some grainwaves, a packet of chocolate bars, blue tac, a good torch and a multi-tool. For breakfast I had this disgusting chocolate Milo cereal so I ended up having muslie instead. After that Mum and Dad agreed I could have extra computer time so I went mad with Minecraft. I built a world called “Skyland” and it was built of the side of a cliff with giant propellers to keep it in the air. It had a rollercoaster of doom, a desert and jungle temple, an orchard, a grave yard, spaceship docks, crop fields, a lookout tower and my house. It took four hours to build all this. My house was 2 stories. It had beautiful patterned ceilings, higgledy pickeldy glass in the walls and rainbow patterned carpet. After playing Minecraft I had bacon and eggs on toast for brunch in the camp kitchen. It was delicious.
Next we went swimming at Bitter Springs thermal pool. You got to float down the current and hop out at the bridge. I spotted a turtle and the water was 32 degrees.
After that we rode home and went out to dinner at The Territory Manor. I had barramundi and chips. While I was waiting for dinner James and I played cane toad soccer. It was loads of fun. Later when we were back at the van we watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and we had intermission for cake. Overall I had a great day.
So glad you had such a great once-in-a-lifetime 2015 birthday, Sam! It was very interesting to read about it.
So pleased you enjoyed your birthday. I don’t get quite so enthusiastic about mine these days! Love, Pa
Just so thrilled Sam that you had a happy birthday – it sounded wonderful and doing such unusual things. love Les and Ros
