Heading bush . . .

Just to keep you updated, we are attempting to head bush tomorrow to Lucky Bay in Cape Le Grand NP.  As there will be no phone and no internet for a week or so and we have not got Pildappa Rock, Ceduna or the Nullarbor posts published yet I thought I’d summarize!

We have just crossed the Nullarbor in 4 days  – roughly 350kms a day.  Found it really very interesting.  Unfortunately we have arrived at Esperance WA on the cusp of a WA long w/e public holiday and have been told our chances of getting a spot at Lucky bay Camp ground are slim. Still, by arriving there hopefully by 8am on Friday instead on Sat as we planned we might just lift our odds from 0% to ?25%.  Wish us luck getting into Lucky Bay!!  No news will be good news.

  1. Well done, good to know that you crossed the Nullabor safely.
Thank you for the Coffin Bay post card. Any more GCs Sam?
Ross is coming to Melbourne next week so we will give him the piece of Lego. Enjoy the SW of WA…we had wonderful holidays in Esperance, Bremer Bay and Albany during our 11 years in Perth.

  2. We have enjoyed reading the latest posts..they reminded us of our drive across from Perth to Sydney in 1979/80 in a Holden Kingswood! We drove back as far as Port Pirie and did the rest by train!
You have had some wonderful encounters and experiences.
    Love to you all.
    Adrienne.
