We continued our journey to Melbourne. We stayed with Christopher and Adrienne and went to ScienceWorks. My favourite part was “think ahead” because I got to design a car for the future. The next day we went to Cook’s Cottage. Then we went to a friend’s place in Geelong and had a big Australia day party! It was really cool.
After staying at Cumberland river we went to see Cape Otway light station. Then we went to Otway Fly tree top walk. I got to see a sub-tropical rainforest from a whole new level.
The next day we went to see Gibson’s steps, 12 Apostles, the Arch, and London Bridge (at least what was left of it) and finally arrived at Warrnambool. Our campsite has a jumping pillow and free Wi-Fi. There was an awesome BMX track nearby. That night we went to see the Flagstaff Hill Laser show about the Loch Ard shipwreck – it was really cool.
The pictures show what a lot of fun you are having.
Love to see the design of a future car you made.
Hi Sam,
The BMX track practice will come in handy as you ride on bust tracks, and look out for low branches! I have not found the picture of your ‘Car of the Future’, still looking.
The cliffs around the Lighthouse and 12 Apostles are dangerous as the sign says and I see you wer careful, When Grandma & I were there many years ago, I think there were more “Apostles’ than now as they fall over every so often.
Anyway, did you like the Blue Lake & riding paths around Mt.Gambier.
School has started, do you have to do much. Can you explain to me what Geocaching is and have you seen any Trains?
Love Grandpa
